May Update! Please read!

Hi to our glorious fans out there! We have some announcements to share with you, some good and some bad.  Let’s start with the good stuff!

First off, the recently held Connecticut Festival of Indie Games was a big success.  Dogs of Combat, the game we showed there, turned out to be the only non-tabletop game at the event!

Our other good news is we have recently submitted Dogs of Combat to this year’s Boston Festival of Indie Games.  As we weren’t picked last year for the exhibitor showcase (and proudly went as a sponsor instead), getting into the showcase this year will be a great sign of redemption for Closed Umbrella Games.  If you want to check out our video entry, it can be found here.  We really hope we get in this year!

Now, for the bad news.  We recently suffered a break-in and had many of our company assets stolen, including much of our hardware.  We’re working to rebuild our great company, and hopefully the police here in Meriden will find the crooks responsible.  Because of this, we may not be doing game updates for a while until we can get back on our feet.

A lot has happened this month, and there’s much more ahead.  We thank you for reading this post, and happy gaming!
